I just had to share this.....my daughter, Alayna has been on the internet today for approximately an hour just looking at dresses for her and her sister and wedding decorations.  She is so excited she gets to help her momma plan this special day.  However her and Alexa can't agree on Alexa's dress, lol its funny. 

I have searched several websites today and checked out the dates of local bridal shows to attend but other than that not really much today.

Many have asked us what's the date or when are we getting married, well we finally have decided on a date.  June 18, 2011.  Some wonder why so long, some wonder why this date.......well one, we want it to be a date when Jakob, Chris's son can possibly be in it and here, another reason is it gives me time to plan and get the beautiful wedding I always wanted, and also financially it is best to be able to plan and pay for things a little at a time.

However......
I today started calling reception halls here locally and not doing the best with that date, but i have more to call so we will see where we stand later on when I can get ahold of more.  The ones i really wanted are already booked....=(.

But we will i am sure be able to find something, if not then we will have to try a different date i suppose.  I am so excited already and stressed too lol. I am sure as Kim Weadock says ...... will be fine, I have lots of help and support.  Love her, she is always so positive and can pull anyone out of a bad mood!!!!

The Engagement Day July 31, 2010

It was soooo out of the loop when this day arrived, I was definately not expecting it what so ever. I had been with my girls at my friend Krissy Lim's daughters birthday all day and came home around 4:30 pm. I grabbed the paper from outside and decided to sit down and read it. Chris was visiting his dad, well I thought he was when in reality he was at my parents asking my dad for permission to marry me. As I was reading the paper, Alayna and Alexa was playing the Wii right next to me, he came home. We talked a little and he stood up and said "Can I please have that paper?" I said, " Well hold on, I only have two pages to go and you can have it." and he replies "Please can i have that paper for just a minute?, I thought "well good lord, why on earth would he want my paper and not be able to just patiently wait for my to read these last two pages, obviously there is something he wants to read real bad in here, I guess I will just give it to him!!!! So I did, and he grabs the paper and then lays it on the couch, and I was like "What the heck?" He then said "Alesha Marie, I love you so much!" then got down on one knee and pulled out this ring box. I was ecstatic, and just covered my mouth and smiled soooo big. He says, "Will you marry me?" Alayna covered her face with her shirt and when Chris pulled it off she was all smiles and soooo happy. Alexa on the other hand was confused and had no clue what was going on. I of course said "OMG, YES!!!!!" and then he put the ring on my finger........that was one of the greatest moments in my life!!!!!
